Job description

Polaris Tech Charter School is looking for a Front Office Assistant for our K-12 campus for the FY 25-26 school year. This vital role is essential for supporting the operational efficiency of the school and helping create a welcoming environment for students, parents, and visitors.

Essential Responsibilities:
  1. Greet and assist students, parents, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Manage incoming calls and direct them appropriately.
  3. Maintain accurate student records and assist with filing and data entry tasks.
  4. Coordinate communication between administration, staff, and families.
  5. Assist with the scheduling of appointments and meetings.
  6. Handle inquiries regarding school policies, programs, and activities.
  7. Support administrative staff with various tasks as needed.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized front office environment.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in office administration preferred.
  2. Previous experience in a front office or administrative role is a plus.
  3. Strong communication, bilingual and interpersonal skills.
  4. Proficient in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and office equipment.
  5. Must have experience with Power School.
  6. Manage attendance.
  7. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy environment.
  8. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  9. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
  10. Enthusiastic, professional demeanor with a desire to assist others.
