Job summary

The Walt Disney Company in Burbank is offering a six-month Publicity internship within the FX Publicity and Communications team. You will gain exposure to multiple departments and report to the Senior Manager, Publicity.

Responsibilities include organizing media clips, researching for projects, assisting with FX premiere events, updating press lists, and supporting day-to-day department tasks. Eligible candidates are rising seniors pursuing communications or related fields and must be available

• Previous internship, coursework, or related experience in public relations, communications, media, or the entertainment industry.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.

About the Role & Program:

The FX Publicity and Communications department is seeking an intern to support the Publicity team. Our intern will report to the Senior Manager, Publicity and gain exposure to various departments across the Company.

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Burbank, California area fromJanuary 2027 – June 2027.

What You Will Do:

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

• Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
• Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information:

• Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
• Fully available from January 2027 through June 2027
• Fully available from Monday through Friday, primarily, and occasionally nights and weekends for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
• Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Burbank, CA area
• Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work in the Burbank, CA area

The pay rate for this role in California is $23.00 per hour.
