Job summary

University of Kentucky’s Young Library is seeking a Graduate Intern for overnight operations. You will manage building functions and provide customer service at service desks while handling stacks management, shelving, and project shifts.

Preferred candidates are graduate students with strong customer service, time management, and student management skills, able to work 11:00 pm–7:00 am shifts on Sundays through Thursdays.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as a graduate level student at UK for the Fall 2026 semester.
• Experience in customer service, time management, and student management.
• Able to work overnight shifts 11:00 pm–7:00 am.
• Physical tasks include pushing/pulling book trucks up to 50 lbs and working in dusty environments.

• Manage and oversee building operations overnight at Young Library.
• Provide customer service at services desks and perform stacks management (shelving materials, shifting projects).
