Responsibilities

• Provide academic support to Roseman University College of Pharmacy (RUCOP) students through individual, small-group, drop-in, and classroom tutoring.
• Maintain a consistent tutoring schedule of up to 20 hours per week, primarily during afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, professionalism, reliability, punctuality, and ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.

Job Description:

The Federal Work-Study Peer Tutor provides academic support to Roseman University College of Pharmacy (RUCOP) students through individual, small-group, drop-in, and classroom tutoring. The Peer Tutor assists students with course content, development of effective study strategies, and individualized tutoring plans designed to support academic success within the Roseman educational model.

This position maintains a consistent tutoring schedule of up to 20 hours per week, primarily during afternoons, evenings, and weekends. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, professionalism, reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.

Qualified candidates must be enrolled in RUCOP at the P2 level or higher, be in good academic and professional standing, have experience with the Roseman educational model, and be eligible for the Federal Work-Study Program. Prior tutoring or peer-mentoring experience is preferred.
