Job summary

Precision Valve North America Inc. is seeking a production associate to operate Final Valve machines while maintaining high quality finished products. You will perform visual inspections, monitor machine performance, and adjust running characteristics to prevent major breakdowns.

You will handle gauges, loading materials, labelling, and paperwork with a focus on safety and cleanliness. The role requires standing for extended periods, reading instructions, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate all Final Valve machines.
• Standing for extended periods is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safety and housekeeping
• Perform visual inspections
• Be familiar with each machine and be prepared for alterations in running characteristics before a major breakdown occurs
• Gauges for crimp heights, stem heights, crimp diameter and dip tub retention verification
• Ensure that parts are feeding into the machines correctly
• Operate scanners
• Loading the hoppers and dip tub reels
• Labeling and stacking finished production on skids
• Change overs
• Verify specifications of part being assembled (BOM)
• Checking and setting the part counter
• Constantly inspect parts for defects
• Complete production paperwork
• Ensure safe work procedures are practiced
• Keep machines and work areas clean
• All other duties as assigned
• Read and understand written instructions and follow oral instructions

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties for this job the employee is required to stand and walk constantly. Occasionally the employee will need to climb, balance and stoop and carry up to 50 lbs.
