Job summary

Mueller Water Products seeks a motivated Pre-Apprentice Welder in Kimball, TN to learn welding under a supportive team. You will assist welders, study blueprints, and gain hands-on fabrication experience in a safety-focused environment.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a High School Manufacturing Practicum, in good standing, 16+ years old, and with OSHA 10 certification. This is a growth opportunity within a leading water infrastructure company.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in High School Manufacturing Practicum with junior standing.
• Good academic standing with hosting school and OSHA 10 safety certification.
• At least 16 years old; able to work within school term limits.

Responsibilities

• Learn and assist Welders in fabrication and welding under supervision.
• Read blueprints and weld symbols; follow procedures and plans.
• Assist in verifying parts match work orders on BOM.
• Maintain safe, organized work area and document production logs.
• Develop welding and fabrication skills and report issues to supervisor.
