Qualifications

For this role, we look for individuals to be responsible for expanding our existing customer base by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage a geographical territory, executing full sales strategies including market analysis, sales forecasting, pipeline management, revenue growth, contract negotiation, and customer retention.
  • Respond promptly to inbound leads and requests. Familiar with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Develop new business and acquire clients by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals. Educate them on how EquipmentShare can help save money, increase profits, and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and inform them of new solutions that can benefit their business.
  • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, and complaints. Conduct sales presentations to prospective and existing customers.
  • Develop new sales strategies to increase market share and enhance customer experience.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Tenacious, innovative, with proven outside sales experience and a strong sales track record.
  • Knowledge of heavy construction equipment or industry (rental or construction) preferred but not required; training provided for candidates with strong sales skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical aptitude to adapt quickly and stay updated on EquipmentShare products and services.
  • Competitive, self-motivated, results-driven, and team-oriented.
  • Ability to manage strategic and national accounts.
