For this role, responsibilities include providing maintenance and repair for a variety of customer and company-owned heavy equipment machinery and aerial lifts. Mechanics will work on the newest fleet in the industry.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Practice safe job practices during equipment repairs
  • Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably
  • Maintain and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment, using a high degree of independent judgment
  • Assist in training lower-level technicians as needed
  • Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) accurately and promptly daily
  • Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts
  • Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred)
  • Field Mechanics: Travel to customer sites for repair/maintenance when required; keep service vehicle clean and professional
  • Participate in year-round OEM training provided by the company
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
  • Own tools applicable to the position
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools
  • Extensive knowledge of construction equipment, including schematics and diagrams
  • Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills
  • High School diploma; Trade school certificate preferred
  • Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred
  • Field mechanics: Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
  • Ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Field Technicians: May need to be clean-shaven to access certain worksites
  • This is a safety-sensitive position; employment contingent on passing a 10-panel drug screen
