Qualifications

For this role, technicians will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of customer and company-owned heavy equipment machinery and aerial lifts. Mechanics will have the opportunity to work on the newest fleet in the industry.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Practice safe job practices when repairing equipment.
  • Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably.
  • Perform maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment, using a high degree of independent judgment.
  • Assist in training lower-level technicians as needed.
  • Maintain documentation of work performed (work orders) accurately and promptly.
  • Assist with pickup and delivery of equipment and parts.
  • Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred).
  • Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance when required; maintain a clean and professional service vehicle.
  • Participate in year-round OEM training provided by the company.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Own tools applicable to the position.
  • Have advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction equipment, including understanding schematics and diagrams.
  • Provide superior customer service, teamwork, and effective communication skills.
  • High School diploma; Trade school certification preferred.
  • Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred.
  • Field mechanics: Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.
  • Ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Field Technicians: May be required to be clean shaven to access certain worksites.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position; employment contingent on passing a 10-panel drug screen.
