For this role, we seek individuals responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of customer and company-owned heavy equipment machinery and aerial lifts. Mechanics will have the opportunity to work on the newest fleet in the industry.
Primary Responsibilities
- Practice safe job practices when repairing equipment.
- Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably.
- Perform maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment, using a high degree of independent judgment.
- Assist in training lower-level technicians as needed.
- Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) accurately and promptly daily.
- Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
- Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred).
- Field mechanics: travel to customer sites for repair/maintenance when required; maintain a clean and professional service vehicle.
- Participate in year-round OEM training provided by the company.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
- Own tools applicable to the position.
- Have advanced mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools.
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment, including understanding schematics and diagrams.
- Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills (verbal and written).
- High school diploma; trade school certification preferred.
- Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred.
- Field mechanics: valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicles.
- Ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Field technicians: may be required to be clean-shaven to access certain worksites.
- This is a safety-sensitive position; employment contingent on passing a 10-panel drug screen.
