The Houchen’s Food Group, Inc. operates Price Less Foods and is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who can oversee daily store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, training and evaluating personnel, managing sales, inventory, scheduling, customer service, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role develops toward Store Manager and requires strong leadership in a fast-paced retail environment.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Retail management experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers, and responding to customer inquiries in a professional manner.
• Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods.
• Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, cash handling, or in performing services for customers.
• Inventory stock and reorder when inventory drops to a specified level.
• Hire, train, and evaluate personnel in sales or marketing establishments, promoting or firing workers when appropriate.
• Plan budgets and authorize payments and merchandise returns.
