Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Sales and Operations Management Trainee to run a business, solve problems, and develop skills across sales, operations, and service. You will train across processes and technologies, with mentoring and opportunities for advancement.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and strong communication, with a flexible schedule including some weekend hours. Travel within the district and driving Penske vehicles are required, and the position offers

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required, preferred concentration in Business or Marketing.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Internship or related work experience in a customer facing role preferred.
Results oriented, attention to detail and good time management skills.
A valid driver's license is required, as is the ability and willingness to drive Penske vehicles, including a 26' box truck.
DOT driver qualification file and related checks are required.
Willingness to travel within the district and to training sites.

Responsibilities

Develop consumer and commercial customer solutions to local and national accounts, including Fortune 500 clients.
Manage a large fleet of vehicles to balance productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Generate new business leads and foster existing customer relationships.
Ensure complete customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
