Job summary

The City of San Diego offers a Future Ready: Digital & Workforce Skills Academy internship program designed to prepare students for careers in information technology, education, or workforce development. Interns will participate in workplace readiness, digital skills, AI awareness, and facilitation training from January 4 to February 26, 2027, with ongoing workshop delivery throughout the term.

• Must be enrolled in a continuing education, traditional education, or training program.
• Must be a United States citizen or have the current legal right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with planning events, conducting research, collecting and analyzing data, assisting with projects, preparing reports and presentations, attending internal and external stakeholders’ meetings, and field work.
