Patriot, LLC is expanding its network of experienced Project Management Professionals (PMPs) to support growth and future business development. A Program Manager for the Service Desk Infrastructure program will work onsite across various US locations, guiding teams and ensuring SLAs/OLAs are met.

You will engage with government personnel, manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables, and coordinate with customers, CORs, and vendors while maintaining effective stakeholder communication.

Job description

Patriot, LLC is expanding its network of experienced Project Management Professionals (PMPs) to support our continued growth and future business development efforts. While we may not have an immediate opening for this position, we are interested in establishing relationships with qualified professionals who are open to exploring new opportunities with Patriot, including potential employment and participation in proposal efforts for upcoming contracts.

Program Manager (Service Desk Infrastructure Technical Support program) for onsite work in various US Based locations. This program supports the operation and maintenance of IT systems to include all software and hardware associated with databases, servers, desktops, and networking. Additionally, provides Tier 2 and above IT technical support and the say-to-day operational aspects of the Data Center, to include supporting the equipment/hosting, power and access controls.

The PM shall communicate effectively with government personnel and maintain an appropriate contractor management interface with customer leadership, the COR, contracting, and customers. The PM shall ensure staffing levels and management oversight is appropriate to meet the SLAs and OLAs and the Performance Requirements. The ideal candidate will be an individual who focuses on providing guidance of teams, rather than a record-keeper of tasks and activities. As teams grow, and development accelerates along with it, communication, integration and coordination within the teams and with supporting groups becomes critical.

Job Description

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives
  • Support project activities to include developing and maintaining key project management deliverables, including but not limited to, project management plans, business cases, project charters, cost benefit analyses, project quad charts, work breakdown structures, project schedules, project cost plans, project spend plans, communications plan, risk management plans, risk registers, and transition plans.
  • Provide requirements analysis and management support, in consultation with client
  • Support provided will ensure that all Applications (Cloud, Web, CRM) meet objectives with the configuration, deployment, operations, and maintenance of their objectives.
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
  • Track project costs in order to meet budget
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Manage contacts with vendors by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
  • Holding regular technical team meetings to help address any questions or challenges regarding upcoming projects
  • Researching and evaluating hardware and software technology options for each project
  • Updating and maintaining all production technologies, helping to ensure proper maintenance and installation is achieved
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
  • shall conduct comprehensive stakeholder engagement necessary to improve enterprise-wide awareness of system requirements and challenges.
  • Communicate the project status, work closely with technical points of contact, develop presentations, and provide project updates to stakeholders and team members.
  • Provide meeting support, e.g., scheduling, coordinating, documenting key program decisions/findings, tracking, and reporting action items, updating databases, and generating reports.
  • Be responsible for program/project management as well as integration and enhancements to existing solutions and services.
  • Contractor shall conduct comprehensive stakeholder engagement necessary to improve enterprise-wide awareness of system requirements and challenges.
  • Manage the teams responsible for fulfilling theprojectand achieving its deliverables.
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

Qualifications for Program/Project Manager:

  • 5 years project management and related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), MBA or equivalent
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Must be a current U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing Cloud, Web and CRM program/projects preferred
  • ITIL v3 Certification
  • HDI SCA Certified
  • Security +
