Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton in the United States seeks a Future Operations Lead to design and integrate exercise scenarios, craft future operation injects, and align training with the contemporary environment.

Qualifications

  • Completion of MEL4 CGSC, WOSSE or SMC.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and integration of exercise scenarios, operational narratives, and future operations injects.
  • Develop and coordinate plans related to force protection, survivability, antiterrorism, and UAP integration.
  • Lead and synchronize activities across Space, Cyber, EW, IO, and CA in scenario design and WFX.
  • Coordinate the information environment representation to enhance realism and learning objectives.
  • Maintain and manage the multidomain OE for training audiences during WFX execution.
  • Lead the integration and delivery of scenario stimulation not from the computer simulation.
  • Coordinate with simulation cells, higher command role players, and OC/Ts for coherent delivery.
  • Collaborate with program divisions and external organizations to align with objectives and environment.

What You’ll Work On
  • Lead the design and integration of exercise scenarios, operational narratives, and future operations injects that support training objectives and replicate current and emerging operational environments.
  • Develop and coordinate plans related to force protection, survivability, antiterrorism, and UAP integration across all phases of scenario design and exercise execution.
  • Lead and synchronize activities, including planning and integration of Space, Cyber, Electromagnetic Warfare, Information Operations, and Civil Affairs effects into the scenario design and WFX execution.
  • Coordinate the representation of the information environment, including social media, traditional media, and information operations, to enhance training realism and support learning objectives.
  • Maintain and manage the multidomain Operational Environment (OE) for training audiences during WFX execution.
  • Lead the integration, synchronization, and delivery of scenario stimulation not generated by the computer simulation system.
  • Coordinate with simulation cells, higher command role players, and observer-coach/trainers (OC/Ts) to ensure coherent delivery of operational stimuli and effects.
  • Work closely with program divisions, training audiences, and external organizations to ensure all aspects of the scenario are aligned with training objectives and the contemporary operational environment.
You Have
  • Experience serving as a field grade officer
  • Experience serving in a key developmental position at brigade or battalion level
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Army and Joint doctrine
  • Ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations up to 20% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Completion of Military Education Level (MEL4) CGSC, Warrant Officer Senior Service Education (WOSSE), or Sergeants Major Course (SMC)
Nice If You Have
  • Experience serving as a planner on a division of higher staff
  • Experience serving as a warfighting function trainer at MCTP, Intermediate Level Education (ILE) or similar school
  • Graduate of the School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS)
Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
