Job summary

Engineered Building Solutions LLC is a manufacturer of high quality building components including metal roofing & siding, laminated wood columns, wood floor & roof trusses, and timber accent trusses. We seek a Wood Component Fabrication worker for 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, to assemble precut wooden parts in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires lifting up to 75 lb, reading a tape measure, and using hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Team Player with a strong work ethic and can follow instructions well.
• Willingness and drive to learn.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Comfortable with physical work and working on your feet all day.
• Carpentry, assembly, or construction experience is a plus – but not required.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 75lb and bend, twist, squat, and reach throughout each work shift.
• Excellent attendance and work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assemble precut wooden parts using provided materials and tools.
• Stage materials for component assembly.
• Lift and place precut lumber onto the assembly table.
• Verify dimensions of precut parts for accuracy.
• Operate hand and power tools (hammer, tape measure, saws, presses, pneumatic nailers).
• Safely lift and move 50 lbs regularly.
• Follow production documents and safety procedures.
• Work closely with a team in a fast-paced, high-production environment.
• Follow supervisor direction and maintain excellent attendance.

Shift & Schedule

1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00AM to 3:30PM

Overtime available. Paid at time and a half after 40 hours.

WOOD COMPONENT FABRICATION

• Assemble precut wooden parts using materials and tools provided
• Stage materials for component assembly
• Lifting and placing precut lumber onto assembly table
• Verify dimensions of precut parts for accuracy
• Operate hand and power tools (hammer, tape measure, saws, presses, pneumatic nailers)
• Safely lift and move 50 lbs regularly
• Follow production documents and safety procedures
• work closely with a team in a fast-paced, high-production environment

  Compensation: $17.50 – $22.00 per hour
