Job summary

SERVPRO of New Hanover/Brunswick & South Columbus Counties in Supply, NC is seeking an experienced Water/Fire/Mold Restoration Crew Lead to guide field teams and deliver the industry’s highest standards of cleanup and restoration.

You will respond to service calls, coordinate equipment, supervise crew members, and ensure safety and customer satisfaction on every project. A valid driver’s license and local travel are expected; starting pay is $22–$24 per hour, dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Effective oral communication is required.
• Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• IICRC certifications preferred (but not required).
• Must be able to travel locally.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls as needed and perform assigned services.
• Coordinate with crew chief to meet customer needs.
• Support production manager and other personnel as needed.
• Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment, and work areas.

Experienced Water/Fire/Mold Restoration Crew Lead for our Brunswick/South Columbus Counties Franchise located in Supply, NC.

Job Description:

Respond to service calls as needed. Perform services as assigned, following SERVPRO® production guidelines. Communicate with the crew chief to make sure all customer needs are met. Support production manager and other production personnel, as needed. Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment, warehouse, and office areas, as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance
• Prepare affected rooms/areas for tear out and set equipment to start the drying process
• Set up staging area and equipment for each project
• Leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance
• Perform production processes following SERVPRO® production guidelines for water, fire, & mold losses
• Ensure clear two-way communication with crew chief and other technicians (especially regarding customer needs and concerns)
• Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown to leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance
• Understand and follow safety and risk management guidelines on the job site, in the office, and while traveling

Qualifications:

• Effective oral communication

• High school diploma/GED
• IICRC certifications preferred (but not required)
• Ability to travel locally
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
• Valid drivers license

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Exposure to chemicals
• Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing,
• Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
• Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces under buildings)
• Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects

Starting pay range $22.00-$24.00 per hour depending on experience
