Job summary

Discovery Point is seeking a Pre-4 Aide to assist the lead teacher with planning lessons and guiding 18 children through activities aligned with our approved curriculum to promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth.

The role involves maintaining a safe, healthy classroom and rotating duties with the Lead Teacher as the day moves between activities, providing 6.5 hours of instructional time year-round with ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for education and experience.
• Knowledge of early childhood education and curriculum.
• Knowledge of child care licensing rules and regulations.
• Ability to obtain CPR/Fire Safety training and other required training.
• Must meet state background check requirements.
