Job summary

Discovery Point is seeking an Assistant Infant Teacher to support the lead teacher with lesson planning and guiding children through activities aligned with our approved curriculum, nurturing social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth. The position runs 10:30am–6:30pm, Monday to Friday, year-round.

Candidates must meet state licensing requirements, be able to obtain CPR/Fire Safety training, and pass a background check; Tennessee Teaching Requirements apply.

Position Summary:

You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment. Position is based on a 12 month calendar from 10:30am-6:30pm, Monday- Friday.

• Knowledge of child care licensing rules and regulations
• Ability to obtain training in CPR/Fire Safety and other training required
• Must be able to meet state background check requirements.
