Future Opening: Part Time Weekend Caregiver in Lombard

Description: This position provides personal care services to clients in compliance with the Plan of Care.

Education: High School Diploma/GED required

Qualifications: One (1) year experience in home or long-term care preferred.

Reports to: Staffing Coordinator

Primary Duties:

• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment within the client’s residence, including light cleaning and organizing.
• Perform personal care activities as outlined in the Plan of Care, such as hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, and transfers.
• Provide nutritional support.
• Report changes in the client’s condition.
• Assist with devices like wheelchairs, walkers, or lifts; perform range of motion exercises; teach household routines; measure and record vital signs and fluid intake/output; observe and report behavioral or physical changes; remind clients to self-administer medication and record assistance provided.
• Follow infection control policies and agency procedures.

Hours: Varies based on assignment; shifts available 24/7; hours not guaranteed.

FLSA Status: Non-exempt, hourly
