Job summary

British Swim School - South Orlando is seeking energetic individuals for swim instruction positions. In this role, you will teach fun swim lessons and work as part of a team focused on saving lives. You will have the opportunity to grow within a culture-driven organization.

The position requires a commitment of 4 to 8 hours per week, with possible shifts on weekdays and weekends. Candidates should be enthusiastic and comfortable in the water, with training provided to maintain necessary certifications.

Qualifications

Your Typical Responsibilities

• Report directly to and support the Aquatics Manager and/or Business Owner(s)
• Instruct swimming lessons in accordance with British Swim School training and program standards, maintaining certifications throughout employment
• Work 4‑hour late afternoon/early evening shifts on weekdays and/or weekends (morning/afternoon)
• Commit to 4 to 8 hours per week; this is a part‑time position
• Location: West Chester, PA

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma, equivalent, or in the process of completion
• Enthusiastic personality
• Comfortable in and around the water; strong swimming skills are a plus but can be taught and developed
• Must maintain certifications throughout employment
• Must complete all required British Swim School Aquatics‑specific training and testing

Preferred Qualifications

• Enjoy working with children
• Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED Certification(s) preferred (but can be obtained during training)
