Future Opening: Office Administrator / Scheduler - Busy Senior Home Care office

Busy, Franchised, Senior Home Care office in San Diego has an exceptional opportunity for an EXPERIENCED office individual to manage its daily operational activities. Someone with the right attitude to do whatever it takes to provide outstanding care for our elderly clients and uphold the fine reputation of our Franchised Brand. Someone who will take ownership of making the client’s experience pleasant, caring, compassionate and professional.

Activities will consist of everything in the back-office required to fulfill the goal of providing OUTSTANDING care and attention for our senior clients. The duties performed will include the full scope of managing the Client / Caregiver activities, including:

  • Compiling the initial weekly schedule of Caregiver/Client appointments,
  • Making necessary adjustments to the schedule according to Caregiver sickness and other sudden, unplanned needs.
  • Distributing the weekly schedule to all appropriate parties,
  • Collecting and monitoring time worked, overtime and mileage records of Caregivers.
  • Providing direction to Caregivers and communicating with supervisors as necessary to ensure safe and effective coverage of client needs,
  • Leading the Caregiver recruiting needs, including testing, interviewing and onboarding processing,
  • Assisting in sales/marketing efforts to prospect for new Clients,
  • Ensuring Caregiver training needs are met and fully comply with CA state licensing requirements,
  • Data entry of Caregiver/Client records and hours worked/billed,
  • Assisting in preparation of Caregiver salaries and Client invoices,
  • Working in coordination with other office staff, including in administration, nursing, out-of-hours scheduling, and management.

We are seeking, ideally, a candidate who is, or has recently been, employed in a very similar role in a busy home care office, and a particularly stable career, rather than job-hoppers. However, we will also consider candidates from general healthcare-related fields, provided they have the necessary attributes and desire to succeed. Experience working as a Caregiver or CNA is helpful, but not essential.
