We have an opening for a Mortgage Loan Officer position. We're looking for someone with a mortgage and/or an active NMLS MLO license that can plug‑in to our fast‑paced environment. You must be able to work in an office.

Primary Responsibilities

• Take leads, follow up with them, and close the sale
• Orchestrate the transaction from lead through closing
• Take loan applications
• Quickly determine if the lead is a viable loan
• Send out needs lists to client
• Collect documents and complete pre‑approval
• Support processing and admin staff when appropriate
• Follow up with referral partners
• Maintain positive client relations
• Continually look for ways to improve processes
• Look for ways to streamline processes
• Follow up with past leads
• Follow up with clients after closing to get more leads

Requirements

• You must have a sales mindset – high sense of urgency, competitive drive, willingness to follow‑up and be not shy to initiate conversations to ask for the business.
• An NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator License is required. We will consider applicants who have recently passed the SAFE exam with applicable sales experience.
• Some college – preferably in business or related field.
• 1–3 years mortgage and/or sales experience.
• Familiarity with Encompass is a plus.
