Job summary

Discovery Point in Tennessee is seeking an office secretary and classroom aide to support a safe learning environment and a quality education program for children. In the absence of the director, you will help manage staff, enrollment procedures, and communicate with parents while monitoring center costs.

You will also be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining licensing rules, and contributing to a caring, engaging classroom atmosphere that supports early childhood education

Qualifications

• Experience as an office assistant and classroom aide in a licensed child care center.
• Previous supervisory experience or experience providing work direction.
• Must have, or be able to obtain CPR/First Aid/Fire Safety, and any other training required by regulatory agencies.
• Knowledge of child care licensing rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of early childhood education curriculum.
• Must be able to meet state background check requirements.
