Established in 1976, Bitner Construction LLC offers a wide range of services in the construction field, including new custom home construction, remodeling, additions, and minor repairs such as replacing doors or windows. Most projects are located in Franklin County, PA.

As a lead carpenter, you will manage your crew, interpret blueprints, set positive examples, and handle various complex projects while maintaining respect and courtesy towards customers and team members.

This role is suitable if you are self-motivated, thrive in fast-paced settings, and can manage your time effectively to meet deadlines. Strong communication skills with supervisors, colleagues, and clients are essential to handle daily situations proficiently.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing material orders
• Planning work sequences and priorities
• Managing multiple carpenters and helpers
• Performing rough framing and finish carpentry to company standards
• Overseeing various jobs simultaneously
• Coordinating with subcontractors to ensure timely project completion
• Maintaining all equipment in good working order
• Performing additional duties and cross-training as needed
• Communicating with clients regarding scope and paperwork
• Consistently arriving on time, five days a week

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of construction experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Dependable transportation for site visits
• Owns necessary hand tools (details provided during interview)
• Ability to lift/move up to 175 pounds
