Job description

The Infant/Toddler Teacher will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for infants and toddlers. This role requires a deep understanding of early childhood development, the ability to design and implement age-appropriate activities, and a genuine love for working with young children.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Developmentally Appropriate Curriculum: Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth of infants and toddlers.
  2. Daily Activities: Engage children in a variety of activities including play, art, music, and sensory experiences, tailored to their developmental needs and interests.
  3. Individual Attention: Provide individualized attention to each child, ensuring their unique needs are met and their progress is monitored.
  4. Health and Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of children by adhering to health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized classroom, and supervising children at all times.
  5. Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's development, behavior, and daily activities. Provide regular updates and address any concerns or questions.
  6. Record Keeping: Document each child’s progress, including milestones, behavioral observations, and developmental achievements. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as needed.
  7. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
  8. Classroom Management: Develop and implement positive behavior management strategies. Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and learning.

Compensation: $11.00 - $17.00 per hour
