Basic Scope/Purpose:

Perform all related tasks necessary to ensure the assigned building or account is cleaned to the standards of ServiceMaster and meets customer expectations.

Description of Duties:

1. Follow the task list for your assigned building or position, completing tasks within the designated time. (See General Task List Below)
2. Maintain your janitorial closet clean, neat, and organized.
3. Keep equipment clean and supplies organized.
4. Obtain and maintain passing scores on janitorial Quality Assurance inspections.
5. Communicate regularly with your supervisor and division manager to ensure you have the necessary items and are meeting customer expectations.
6. Communicate with your customer at your assigned facility as needed.
7. Maintain a safe work environment by using wet floor signs when mopping, labeling spray bottles and containers, and securing your work area.
8. Secure the building or area after completing your tasks.

General Task List:

• Vacuum carpet and runners
• Dry and damp mop hard surface floors
• Empty trash and replace liners as needed
• Dust ledges and horizontal surfaces
• Dust desks and chairs
• Sanitize telephones
• Spot clean walls for fingerprints and smudges
• Vacuum carpeted traffic areas
• High and low dusting of surfaces
• Clean and sanitize sinks, toilets, urinals, and kitchen surfaces
• Refill soap and paper towel dispensers
• Arrange furniture as needed
• Replace disposable items like toilet paper, hand towels, and soap
• Notify building contact of irregularities and maintenance needs
• Turn off lights (except designated), secure building, and set alarm

Compensation: Starts at $21.25 per cleaning, with work on Tuesdays and Thursdays. A great way to supplement your monthly income.
