FASTSIGNS #172001 is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer to create full-color graphics and vinyl output for various substrates. The role involves refining designs from customer inputs, ensuring accurate layouts, and selecting appropriate materials and output settings.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of graphic design experience, is proficient in Adobe Illustrator, and comfortable using AI design tools. The position supports FASTSIGNS Pembroke Pines with on-site work.

Responsabilités

• Determine layout, type, and arrangement based on space and production needs.
• Inspect jobs for accuracy and ensure correct materials and output settings.
• Maintain customer logo library; convert graphic files.
• Maintain marketing collateral for FASTSIGNS Pembroke Pines.

A Successful FASTSIGNS Graphic Designer Will:

• Create computer-generated full-color graphics and/or vinyl output that can be printed and mounted to a substrate or weeded, cut and applied
• Complete or modify designs from customer drawings, files, or exact output of customer-provided design for output to media
• Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select style and size of type, and arrange layout based upon available space, aesthetic design, and production requirements.
• Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to output. Ensure correct material is used for each job and output device settings are accurate
• Maintain customer logo library; convert graphic files
• Maintain Marketing collateral for FASTSIGNS of Pembroke Pines

Equipment & Production Experience

• Experience operating large-format printers and plotters (Mimaki Printers preferred)
• Experience with vinyl cutters, laminators, and mounting equipment (Mimaki Plotter Cutting preferred)
• Experience utilizing RasterLink (or Onyx) Software
• Ability to prepare, set up, and output files for print and cut production
• Understanding of materials used in sign production (vinyl, banner, rigid substrates, etc.)
• Comfortable troubleshooting basic production and output issues
• Willingness to learn and operate additional equipment as needed

Ideal Qualifications for FASTSIGNS Graphic Designer

• 2-4 years of graphic design experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator,
• Experience utilizing AI Graphic Design tools
• Ability to prioritize jobs, multi-task, and work autonomously
• Determine the best output method based on the customer’s needs
• Strong communication skills; able to engage customers by phone, email, in person, and onsite
• Outgoing, customer-focused, and able to build long-term client relationships
• Organized and detail-oriented; able to manage quotes, work orders, and project timelines accurately
• Sit and view a computer screen for long periods (4 hours or more)
• Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work
• Tech-savvy and comfortable learning order management systems (e.g., CoreBridge)
• Able to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality and accuracy
• Comfortable sitting at a computer and viewing a screen for extended periods (4 hours)
• Enthusiastic team player, proactive in supporting business growth and daily operations

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
