Position Details

Schedule: 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday
Location: Bridgeton
Start: Immediately

Requirements

Must be able to pass a background check. Must be able and willing to perform tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, and emptying trash. Ability to operate an auto scrubber is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and healthy environments by removing debris, maintaining common areas, restocking bathrooms, and responding to cleaning emergencies.
• Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, window cleaning, and moving furniture.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Use proper PPE as required.
• Clean all common areas such as kitchens, cafeterias, lobbies, and break rooms.
• Place safety hazard signs during cleaning activities.
• Monitor, clean, and restock bathrooms.
• Respond promptly to spills and cleaning crises.
• Remove litter from common areas.
• Experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is a plus but not required; training provided.
• Flexibility, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a positive attitude are essential.
• Dependability, punctuality, and respectful communication are required.

Physical Demands and Qualifications

• Constant standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead and forward. Ability to lift/carry 25 lbs.
• Ability to read cleaning instructions and differentiate cleaning products.
