Job summary

Tire Pros & Wheel Experts in the United States is seeking a Tire Technician to perform tire repairs, replacements, balancing, rotations and TPMS procedures, with opportunities for growth and advancement.

You will review repair orders, inspect vehicles, install TPMS, balance tires, conduct road tests, and communicate results to customers while adhering to safety and quality policies. Training and top-tier benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent vocational training.
• Knowledge of non-technical tire and auto service processes.
• Familiarity with tire and lube requirements and specs.
• Experience with Mitchell Repair and All-Data software.
• Knowledge of wheel balancers, TPMS and drivability diagnostics.
• SEMA certification preferred; ATS 200/300/400 level a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reviews repair order requests and visually inspects vehicles to determine tire service needs.
• Performs tire replacement or minor maintenance services.
• Installs TPMS and mounts tires on wheels, inflates as required.
• Tests tire balances to ensure proper weight placement.
• Conducts short road tests to verify proper installation.
• Reviews service with customers.
• Follows Quality Control, Safety, OSHA and EPA policies.

Job Summary

Performs all automotive tire repairs, changes, balancing, rotations and TPMS procedures. Great growth and career opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Reviews repair order requests and makes visual inspection of vehicles to determine the extent of tire service requirements and materials needed
• Performs tire replacement or minor maintenance services
• Installs valve stem and tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) as required. Mounts tire on wheel assembly and inflates tires as required
• Test tire balances to ensure proper weight placement
• Performs short road test to ensure proper installation
• Reviews service with customer
• Complies with Company Quality Control Program, Company Safety Policy, OSHA and EPA regulations

Desired Qualifications

• High school graduate, comparable vocational training or 6 months of tire technician experience
• Must have knowledge of non-technical tire and auto service processes and procedures. Knowledge of systems software pertaining to automotive servicing
• Preferred Experience:
• Familiarity with tire and lube requirements and specifications
• Knowledge of Mitchell Repair and All-Data
• Knowledge of tire requirements to include use of wheel balancers, tire specifications, Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems and some drivability diagnostic experience
• Certifications:
• SEMA certification preferred
• Prefer TIA Automotive Tire Service (ATS) 200. Level 300 or 400 level a plus

  Compensation: $14.00 – $20.00 per hour
