Job summary

Celebree School™ of Franklin is seeking an Assistant Infant Teacher to create a nurturing, educational environment for preschool children and support growth of classroom aides toward Celebree Teacher roles. You will implement engaging activities and help maintain a safe, organized classroom.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma is required; CDA or higher preferred.
• Minimum of two years of professional experience in Early Childhood Education.
• In-depth understanding of child development and behavior, and familiarity with childcare licensing regulations.
• Strong classroom management abilities, including organizational, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills; patience and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschoolers.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom atmosphere where preschoolers feel safe and encouraged to learn.
• Integrate language-rich activities, storytelling, and early literacy into daily routines.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety of the classroom environment and play areas.
• Establish open communication with parents, sharing insights and progress on development.

Job Summary

As an Assistant Infant Teacher at Celebree School™ you’ll be at the heart of the action, creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that sparks curiosity and ignites young minds. Your mission? To ensure that Celebree’s mission, vision, and values shine through in every activity, while providing preschool children with educational experiences that are as fun as they are enriching. As a Preschool Teacher, you’ll also have the opportunity to help classroom Aides on their growth journey to become a Celebree Teacher. Come grow BIG with Celebree!

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing creative and developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities that foster learning, curiosity, and exploration among preschool-aged children.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom atmosphere where preschoolers feel safe, valued, and encouraged to express themselves and learn through play.
• Assist in integrating language-rich activities, storytelling, and early literacy experiences into daily routines to help children develop communication skills, vocabulary, and a love of reading.
• Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the classroom environment, including materials, equipment, and play areas, to support optimal learning and exploration.
• Establish open and ongoing communication with parents, sharing insights, updates, and progress on their child’s development

Qualifications

• A high school diploma is required; a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or higher is preferred.
• Minimum of two years of professional experience in Early Childhood Education.
• In-depth understanding of child development and behavior, as well as familiarity with childcare licensing regulations, is essential.
• Must possess strong classroom management abilities, including excellent organizational, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills. Patience and flexibility are also key attributes for success in this role.

Certifications

CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
