RESPONSIBILITIES
The Future Leaders Maintenance Director in Training (MIT) Program is a structured leadership development program designed to prepare high‑potential maintenance professionals for advancement into Maintenance Director roles within Genesis facilities.
This immersive program builds the technical, regulatory, financial, and leadership capabilities required to effectively oversee plant operations, ensure compliance with life safety and regulatory standards, and maintain a safe, efficient, and high‑performing environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
MIT participants complete a phased development experience that includes hands‑on facility training, multi‑site exposure, leadership coaching, and completion of structured learning plans. The program supports leadership continuity, reduces operational risk, and strengthens maintenance excellence across the organization.
The MIT Maintenance Program applies to selected maintenance team members who demonstrate leadership potential and the ability to support both home and sister facilities.
