Job summary

Sears Holdings Corporation offers a College Management Trainee- Production Track in a full-time program. Trainees rotate through defined tracks within Home Improvement and complete assessments to progress. The aim is to prepare individuals for a salaried manager role at the end of the twelve-month program.

Candidates should graduate this year or by December 2016 with a relevant construction or project management degree and strong communication, organization, and project leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Graduated from college this year or will be by December 2016.
• AA or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Project Management.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with associates, managers, and customers.
• Project management, organizational and time management skills.
• Champions change and displays energy when faced with new opportunities.
• Ability to perform under deadlines and lift up to 40 lbs in some tracks.
• Represent the company in a professional manner per Code of Conduct.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a twelve month Management Trainee program with a defined track.
• Learn all aspects of the Home Improvement business for the selected track.
• Progress through assessments and manager evaluations to qualify for the next assignment.
• Assume a salaried manager role at program completion.
