Job summary

Peckham Industries Inc. seeks a Foreman Trainee to develop into a Foreman within PARCO terminal operations. You will learn safety, environmental compliance, bulk liquid handling, inventory management, and daily planning while supporting leadership and coordinating with operations teams.

As you grow, you will assume increasing Foreman responsibilities under guidance, gaining hands-on experience with pumps, valves, tanks, and associated equipment in a heavy industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory or crew leadership experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with pumps, valves, piping, tanks, and related equipment.
• Knowledge of safe bulk liquid transfer and hot-product handling practices.
• Ability to monitor tank levels, temperatures, gauges, and product inventory.
• Proficient verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Protect safety and compliance requirements across the facility.
• Learn environmental requirements and assist with inspections and recordkeeping (SPCC, SWPP, FRP).
• Communicate operating priorities and shift information to management and partner teams.
• Maintain accurate inspection, inventory, and operating documentation.
• Coordinate activities with Maintenance, Dispatch, Rail Terminal, and other teams.
• Plan, prioritize, and coordinate daily work within the facility as knowledge grows.
• Learn employee timekeeping and basic supervisory processes.
• Review Plant Report Sales and Inventory with the Plant Clerk and understand how inventory, sales, and terminal activity affect operations.
• Understand inventory levels, tank capacity, and customer demand to guide operations.
