Position Title:Paraprofessional

Reports to:Building Principal/Director
Work Schedule:190-Day Contract
Hours to Work:8 hours

Primary Function:

Working under the direction of a certified teacher, provide support services in the classroom, including:

• Prepare instructional materials
• Instruct/supervise students
• Perform clerical tasks

QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of two years of college credit OR a high school diploma and a passing score on the GACE Paraprofessional assessment test is required. Experience working with children of all ages is preferred.

The individual must have or be eligible to hold a Georgia Paraprofessional License issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC).
