Job summary

Stantec is seeking an entry-level Civil Engineer-in-Training to join our Community Development practice in San Bernardino, Irvine, or Pasadena, California. You will prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for civil facilities while working under the supervision of licensed engineers to gain experience toward your Professional Engineering license.

The role emphasizes collaboration in a dynamic team, exposure to residential, commercial, and industrial projects, and a path toward licensure

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or similar accredited degree.
• Minimum of 1 year engineering experience preferred.
• EIT preferred or plans to take the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam in California within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for civil facilities.
• Assist with implementation of these facilities on a wide variety of projects.
• Work under supervision to gain professional licensure with mentorship from experienced engineers.
