For this role, we seek individuals responsible for safely and efficiently delivering equipment, products, and materials to customers in a timely and professional manner.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
• Transport loads safely and timely, obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Manoeuvre truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas; follow loading crew signals.
• Assist with loading/unloading goods, using specialized equipment when needed; unload empty skids and return equipment.
• Maintain signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork; deliver documentation upon route completion.
• Perform routine truck maintenance checks; report malfunctions.
• Arrange trailers for optimal loading patterns in shipping yards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; professional communication.
• Ability to stay focused in busy environments.
• Hold a valid commercial driver’s or chauffeur’s license, appropriate for the vehicle weight.
• Pass background and drug tests as per regulations.
• Pass DOT physical (trucks over 10k lbs).
• Minimum age 21.
• Ability to sit for long periods.
• Lift and move up to 40 pounds.
• Frequent travel capability.
• CDL drivers may need to be clean-shaven for customer delivery requirements.
• Position is safety-sensitive; passing a drug screen is required.
