For this role, we seek individuals responsible for safely and efficiently delivering equipment, products, and materials to customers in a timely and professional manner.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
• Transport loads safely and promptly over required routes, obeying all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Skillfully maneuver trucks and trailers into loading and unloading areas; follow loading crew signals.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods and materials, using specialized equipment when necessary; unload empty skids and return equipment to designated areas.
• Maintain signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork; deliver documentation upon route completion.
• Perform routine service on trucks, including checking oil, water, gasoline, and air; report maintenance issues to the Shipping Supervisor.
• Arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimal loading patterns.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with professionalism and courtesy in interactions.
• Ability to stay focused in a busy environment.
• Possess a valid commercial driver’s or chauffeur’s license, appropriate for the vehicle weight, depending on state regulations.
• Pass background checks and drug testing as required by federal and/or state transportation regulations.
• Pass a DOT physical, as trucks are over 10,000 lbs.
• Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicles.
• Ability to sit for long periods in a trailer cab.
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• CDL drivers may need to be clean-shaven to meet customer requirements.
• This is a safety-sensitive position; employment contingent upon passing a 10-panel drug screen.
