  • Perform/analyze integrated modeling simulations to predict performance of stellarators.
  • Utilize gyrokinetic and fluid models for transport projections.
  • Collaborate with the physics and engineering team.

Skills

Strong understanding of gyrokinetic theory and transport processes
Expertise in developing scientific simulation codes using Python
Expertise in developing scientific simulation codes using C++
Expertise in developing scientific simulation codes using Fortran
Proven experience working in Linux-based HPC environments

Education

PhD in Plasma Physics, Computational Physics, Applied Mathematics
Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience
