Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years of experience in Materials Science, Nuclear Engineering, or a related field.
• Master’s degree with 1–2 years of experience is acceptable.
• Strong knowledge of metallurgy, microstructures, processing and failure mechanisms.
• Experience planning and executing materials testing campaigns.
• Familiarity with fusion-relevant materials and environments.
• Ability to write clear, concise technical reports.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with rigorous data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute materials testing and characterization campaigns on fusion materials.
• Analyze test results and generate campaign outcome reports.
• Conduct literature reviews to guide materials development and lifetime estimations.
• Assist engagements with vendors and external collaborators for fusion materials.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and publications to share findings.
• Collaborate with Scientists, Engineers, and Technicians across teams.
