Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform service, maintenance, and minor repairs on fusion equipment and related mechanical systems. The role involves inspecting components, documenting activities, applying safety labels, and supporting senior staff on complex projects.

Responsibilities include handling basic repairs, refueling, and vehicle maintenance while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Travel to local sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in the mechanical field preferred.
• Hydraulic, diesel, electrical, pneumatic experience.
• Prior experience with fusion machines is a plus!
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel locally

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate records of basic maintenance and repairs performed on equipment.
• Applies and maintains decals, safety warnings, and company ID stickers as needed.
• Completes work orders under supervision for internal and external repairs.
• Assists with minor repairs of mechanical equipment.
• Supports maintenance of company vehicles.
• Checks and refuels equipment as directed.
• Assists senior mechanics with complex repair and maintenance projects.
• Reports safety violations to supervisor.
