The State of Connecticut, Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection (DESPP) invites applications for a Fusion Center Analyst in Middletown, CT. The role involves evaluating and analyzing criminal and terrorism information with intake, research, collection, analysis, dissemination and documentation responsibilities.

This full-time, hybrid position supports homeland security efforts, with a 40-hour work week, typically 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

Six (6) years of professional experience in the collection, integration, evaluation and analysis of criminal/terrorism information.
College training may substitute for part of the general experience (15 semester hours = 0.5 year, up to 4 years for a Bachelor's).
Master's degree may substitute for one additional year of General Experience.
CT DAS Trainee program may substitute for General Experience.
Must obtain a DHS Secret Security clearance within nine months of appointment.
Incumbent must possess and retain a valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License.

Responsibilities

Collect, analyze, and disseminate intelligence data to support investigations and operations.
Establish links between crimes to aid in identifying networks and patterns.
Prepare comprehensive reports and present intelligence findings to stakeholders.
Coordinate exchange of information across interstate and intrastate channels.
Collaborate with federal, state, municipal, and private entities to obtain data.
