Description

Responsible for learning, performing, and rotating between the positions of packer, scaler, styler, and grader to maintain line speeds for various products at the designated rate.

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate on a moving conveyor belt, using both hands to spread or style products.
• Perform packing and weighing tasks.
• Remove bones, inspect, grade, and discard products that do not meet standards.
• Participate actively as a team member, supporting team development, communication, and policy implementation.
• Contribute to maintaining cohesiveness within the team and support organizational goals.
• Adhere to Simmons' operating systems principles, including quality, security, LEAN practices, and company policies.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support business objectives.
• Physical activities include moving, pushing, or pulling up to 55 pounds, bending, stooping, and working in cold, wet, noisy, and dusty environments.
• Wear appropriate PPE such as waterproof gloves, sleeves, hearing protection, and slip-resistant footwear.
