Job summary

Arhaus in Conover, NC is seeking a Sewer to join the Sewing department. The Sewer will sew fabric and leather components for furniture, ensuring quality and meeting production goals in a fast-paced environment.

You must have good vision and color discernment, be able to read sew notes in English, and operate an electric industrial sewing machine safely. This on-site, non-exempt position includes overtime as needed and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read/write English.
• Must be able to consistently push/pull and lift up to 15 lbs.
• Must be able to sew an accurate 1/2” seam.
• Sew straight stitches and no skipped stitches.
• Must read sew notes written in English.

Responsibilities

• Sew furniture pieces accurately using set standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
