Job summary

Ashley Furniture in Texas seeks a Retail Sales Associate to turn store guests into loyal customers and guide them in selecting furnishings that reflect their lives. You’ll create inspiration, deliver world-class service, and support daily store operations in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll be the face of our brand at the front desk, drive sales, manage cash handling, and assist with inventory and financing as needed. This is a dynamic role for an energetic sales professional.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift, tug, and pull 25 lbs with or without accommodation.
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• 1 year customer service and/or sales experience, preferred.
• Gets charged up by interacting with others, being outgoing, friendly, and easy to talk to.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Thrives in an environment that rewards world-class service and delights guests.
• Provide outstanding service for every customer and guest at the front desk.
• Accurately process sales orders and assist with credit/financing while documenting transactions.
• Address customer concerns independently when possible.
• Aid in store opening/closing activities, including cash reconciliation and daily checklists.
• Support inventory management and loss prevention procedures, including bi-annual counts.
• Meet and exceed sales goals and KPI expectations.
• Complete any additional tasks as assigned by management.
