Job summary

Our client in furniture restoration and logistics is seeking a Furniture Repair Technician in Olathe, KS. You will work in the Last Mile department supporting repair and maintenance operations, applying craftsmanship and attention to detail to restore furniture to best condition.

The role offers a Tuesday–Saturday shift (6am–3pm) with a pay range of $25–$28 per hour, based on experience, and opportunities for growth in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in furniture repair or related trade.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Physically able to lift and move items up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic to moderate furniture damage and determine appropriate repair method.
• Perform repairs including burn-in fills, wood touch-ups, and frame stabilization.
• Assist with refinishing furniture- sanding, staining, and polishing as needed.
• Reupholster or repair minor fabric issues such as seams and stuffing.
• Replace or repair furniture components like legs, arms, handles, hinges, etc.
