Job summary

Raymour & Flanigan in Manchester, CT is seeking a Furniture Repair Technician. You will assess damages and repair wood furniture, leather, fabric and upholstery, setting the standard of excellence for the merchandise customers will receive.

The role requires hands-on craftsmanship, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Expect hourly pay between $23 and $30 based on experience; a safety-first environment and a drug- and smoke-free workplace are provided.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience working with wood furniture, leather, fabric and upholstery.
• Color matching and blending.
• Wood repairs including burn-ins and wood graining.
• Leather repairs including scuffs, holes and tears.
• Upholstery repairs including structural/mechanism replacements.
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Physical Requirements:

• Lift, lower, push and pull all sizes of furniture up to and in excess of 100 lbs.
