Job summary

Furniture Mart USA in Cedar Falls, IA is seeking a Full-Time Repair Technician with a knack for woodworking, leather, and upholstery. You’ll repair items, replace mechanisms, and help ensure every piece leaving the floor meets our standard of excellence.

You’ll work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, lift heavy parts, and complete background and drug screenings as part of the hiring process. Start wage is $18.50/hour with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience with carpentry, upholstery, or related crafts preferred.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 100 lbs on a regular basis.
• Pass background check and drug test before starting.
• Full-time availability Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM.

Responsibilities

• Repair wood, leather, and upholstery and replace mechanisms.
• Set the standard of excellence for the quality of merchandise.

Starting Wage:

$18.50/hour

Summary:

If you have a talent for craftsmanship or enjoy carpentry projects, are comfortable working with your hands, and have a desire to use your artistic and technical skills then this may be the opportunity for you!

• Full-Time (40 hrs/wk): Monday-Friday, 7AM - 3:30PM
• Repair wood, leather, and upholstery, as well as mechanism replacements
• Responsible for setting the standard of excellence for the quality of the merchandise our customers will receive

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift in excess of 100 lbs. on a regular basis
• Upon job offer, must be able to pass a background check and drug test before starting work
