Job summary

Furniture Mart USA in Minnesota is hiring for a Repair Technician to fix wood, leather, and upholstery and to replace mechanisms in customers' homes. This full-time role offers hands-on carpentry work and a path for career growth within a growing company.

You will travel to customer homes, set quality standards, and ensure satisfaction with courteous, professional service. The starting wage ranges from $19.75 to $24.00 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 100 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Must have a great eye for color and detail, be efficient, self-motivated, and reliable.
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to solve problems and follow-up on details.

Responsibilities

• Repair wood, leather, and upholstery, and replace mechanisms.
• Travel to customer homes to inspect and repair furniture.
• Set the standard of excellence for the quality of merchandise our customers will receive.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by handling repairs in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner.

Starting Wage:$19.-75-$24.00depending on experience

• Full-Time (40 hrs/wk):Tues-Fri 7-5:30
• Repair wood, leather, and upholstery, as well as mechanism replacements
• Travel to customer homes to inspect and repair furniture
• Responsible for setting the standard of excellence for the quality of the merchandise our customers will receive
• Ensure customer satisfaction by handling repairs in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner
