Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Manufacturing, furniture production, or quality control experience preferred.
• Experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar quality-focused role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to identify, document, and clearly communicate quality issues.
• Basic mathematical and measurement skills.
• Strong reporting, recordkeeping, and documentation skills.
• Good hand-eye coordination and ability to perform detailed visual inspections.
• Ability to follow specifications, procedures, and work instructions accurately.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to verify compliance with specifications and customer requirements.
• Perform visual inspections, measurements, and quality checks using established methods and tools.
• Identify defects, non-conforming materials, or workmanship issues and communicate findings to leadership.
• Place products on hold, return items for rework, and verify completion before approval to continue.
• Disassemble or access product components when necessary to complete inspections.
• Document inspection results through reports, logs, checklists, and system entries.
• Track recurring quality issues, rework trends, or defects requiring investigation.
• Collaborate with Production, Upholstery, Assembly, and Packaging to resolve quality concerns.
• Maintain inspection tools, work areas, and quality records.
• Follow safety requirements, quality procedures, and manufacturing standards.
• Maintain knowledge of product specifications and inspection requirements.
• Perform other related duties to support quality and manufacturing operations.
